Transparence

Stripped of all embellishment, these images reveal another facet of humanity: man in a different state — primal, fleeting, and perhaps even spiritual, if one accepts the symbolic significance of water and earth.

At the heart of this series lies the encounter, and ultimately the fusion, between the human being and these elemental forces. Water and earth evoke notions of origin and essence, bringing us back to something fundamental and timeless.

Here, man appears in his rawest form. Hence the title Transparency — an invitation to look beyond appearances and beyond the image that individuals project into the world. These works seek to reveal what lies beneath, or perhaps beyond, the visible.

The resulting images convey a sense of immateriality. As the body merges with water and earth, it seems to dissolve, fragment, and lose its physical boundaries. Matter gives way to something more elusive, as though a transformation of state had taken place — from the tangible to the intangible, from presence to essence.
