The Souk Tales

The rural souk is a weekly market to allow the villagers living in the region, to do their shopping, a market where they can buy or barter their fresh vegetable, meat or any other commodities … even having a haircut is possible.

They built it very archaically, only with recovery objects, the most of the goods are placed right on the ground.

It’s a public meeting place, a spot of unusual encounter, where many things are happening. While moving around the souk, we could capture spontaneous, fascinating faces expressions in particular scenes, a crowd confusion and its disorganization surrounded by vivid colors, conjointly all their meanings and perceptions compose the tales of the souk.

Unfortunately this sort of rural souk won’t last forever.
